My company is based on the belief that my customers' needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.
I started Christi's In Home Training & Pet Care in 2001. After working as a manager at a pet store for 7 years, I realized that the need for personalized in home dog training was in great demand. So I decided to combine that with dog walking and pet sitting in order to better serve all of my customers needs for their "furry kids".
I have enjoyed training dogs for over 17 years and love watching all dogs of any age, breed, or size learn how to better understand their owners!
I currently a 10 year old Border Terrier "Dexter", a 7 year old Aussie "Cruizer" & a 15 year old Cocker Spaniel "Cassie. Dexter is a retired therapy dog certified through Therapy Dogs International and enjoyed visiting people at Fairview Southdale hospital. Now he is enjoying his retired time lounging by the kiddie pool on the warm summer days. Cruizer is in training to become a therapy dog like his big brother and has earned several obedience Titles. He and Dexter also accompany me on my training sessions when needed. We welcomed Cassie into our family in 2015 when her owner passed away. She brings a smile to my life on a daily basis!(The Weimaraner in the picture was my boy "Duke". He passed away but taught me so incredibly much along with bringing me so much happiness in his short 11 years.)
